1. Development Moratorium
- Apply a moratorium on all dirty industry developments for 6 mo
- Conduct unbiased reviews, free from corporate & legislative influence, on industry impact.
- Teach the public and leaders about real risks.
- Assess needs for regional bridges, roads, and all of our local utility networks.
- Install stringent penalties for security/safety non-compliance
2. Local Governance
• Overhaul laws that restrict county
zoning authority.
• Appoint resident boards to
monitor industry ethics and
compliance.
• Validate all groundwater pumping
through verifiable local audits.
• Apply a percentage of state
highway revenue to counties for
infrastructure improvements
3. Pass Equitable Regulations
- Demand full development disclosure before land acquis-itions begin.
- Provide public hearings 90 days before acquisitions
- Increase monitoring of air, land and water quality.
- Stop tax loopholes/tax abate-ments that force constituents to pay for corporate infrastructure.
4. Educate Voters & Leaders
- View our research section to understand the facts about how these industries harm our health, wildlife, livestock, land, air and water
- Host a town hall where larger groups can hear from our group leaders and experts.
